1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyLearningCircle ("the Platform"), operated by MyLearningCircle ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

MyLearningCircle is an online marketplace that connects parents/guardians with independent educators ("Teachers") who offer small-group learning sessions ("Learning Circles") for children. We facilitate discovery, booking, and payment but are not the direct provider of educational services.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Parents/guardians must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You must not share your account with others.

4. Teacher Verification

Teachers on the Platform undergo a verification process that includes identity and qualification checks. However, we do not guarantee the quality of teaching or the accuracy of teacher-provided information. Parents should exercise their own judgment when selecting teachers and learning circles.

5. Bookings and Payments

All payments are processed through Razorpay, our payment gateway partner. Prices displayed are in Indian Rupees (INR). GST at 18% is applicable on all transactions and is displayed separately at checkout. Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your child's spot.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the first class are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the first class may receive a partial refund at our discretion. If a Teacher cancels a session, you will receive a full refund for that session. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.

7. Code of Conduct

All users must treat others with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will result in immediate account suspension. Teachers must maintain a safe learning environment. Parents must ensure their children follow reasonable classroom rules.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, its content, and branding are owned by MyLearningCircle. Teachers retain ownership of their original educational materials. Users may not copy, distribute, or reproduce Platform content without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

MyLearningCircle acts as a marketplace and is not liable for the quality of teaching, disputes between teachers and parents, or any injury or harm occurring during sessions. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in question.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
